Rahul Rawail: I Resigned From The Oscar Jury
In an exclusive telephonic chat, ten minutes ago, Rahul Rawail called me to say that more than Court being chosen as India's official entry to the Oscars, Amol Palekar - who was appointed Chairman of the jury - is the reason behind his resignation.

""Court is a very good film, but didn't we have many great films this year?" he quizzed, before adding, "I had a big problem with how Amol Palekar was running the show at the jury selection meet. Can I tell you something?"

Yes, please. "Mr. Palekar said he hated Court," Rawail revealed.

The filmmaker, however, refused to continue the conversation, saying that he shall disclose the details only tomorrow at the press conference which he has called.

The mystery deepens. The controversies around Oscars never cease in India.
